Hi I’m David. Can you quit complaining? I don’t wanna freakin hear it anymore. Thanks.
No one else created your current reality. Only you did. Also, no one else can create your reality. Only you can. You are the only one who can create your reality, your life. It’s all on you. Every bit of it you.
But wait! I didn’t…
ask for this, choose this, it’s out of my control, it’s his fault, it’s my parents fault, she won’t let me, they won’t let me, I’m not smart enough, I’m not talented enough, I’m not lucky enough, I’m not good enough, I’m not, I’m not, I’ m not, I can’t, I can’t, I can’t….quit your complaining coward! Yes you can, but only if you are determined enough.
I really don’t care what you believe, and I’m certainly not here to make you believe anything…
but I just want you to know that you don’t exist to suffer. You exist to express yourself with great diversity in life. This diversity is not simply owning a house, getting married, and having some kids. This diversity of expressions is your individual creative gifts, your love, your kindness, your emotions, your heart, you.
Suffering is part of the deal sometimes…
We spend most of our time while alive learning, testing, doing. When we try things out that are not in line with what we want for ourselves we feel friction. This friction comes in many forms: limiting beliefs, dis-empowering relationships, financial scarcity, lack of purpose, lack of focus…but keep on pushing! Keep on learning, testing, and doing.
It’s part of the creative process
It’s part of the human experience. The goal of being alive is this: You are a powerful creative being, but only if you believe so. Believe so. Next, you can do, have ,or be, whatever you want to do, have or be….but only if you believe so. Believe so. Lastly, focus on what you want as you will attract life experiences to help you decide if that is in fact what you really want. If you feel good about it, then that is a positive signal that what you are attracting is in line with what you desire. A bad feeling means just the opposite. Trash it and start over.
Your real work though is not to endlessly learn. It’s to decide what you want to do, then to do it with passion and purpose.
Give focused thought as to what you want. This will help attract life experiences to help you decide what it is you really want (and don’t want). Once you have decided what it is you actually want, focus and give your thoughts only to that. You will attract more of it and live in a state of joy (but joy only occurs when you discover what it is you actually want).
Law of attraction and the intention manifestation model
This is not some airy fairy, magical bullshit thinking…it’s about manifesting your thoughts and desires into reality. I know someone in particular who is really amazing with the law of attraction and whom I could learn something from… my 5 year old niece. When she wants something it’s no secret. She jumps up and down, she keeps asking for it, she keeps talking about it. She like most small children put such intensity and enthusiasm into their desires that it can’t help but manifest.
This is where most adults go wrong…
We just don’t put the same level of enthusiasm into our desires. We get too caught up in the details with not enough focus on the feelings and enthusiasm of energy behind the feeling. So nothing happens and we get frustrated. We think “I want to attract $5,000 a month…no wait $8,000 a month…wait that’s a bit unrealistic…OK I want to attract $3,000 a month.
You’re missing the damn point!
It’s the feeling, you should be feeling empowered, joyful, and excited about your desire. It’s not about what you say, it’s about how you feel about what you say. The default state is joy, but joy only occurs when you have decided what it is you want, and because of this decision you focus only your thoughts and positive emotions on it as to attract more of it. So find an intention that gets you excited, not one where it’s something you think you should want, or something that you would like to have happen.
Inward or outward? Create or receive?
One last bit about intentions, the energy you put into them, how excited you feel about your intention has a direct effect on it manifesting. Take my 5 year old for example, her intentions are injected with a ton of enthusiasm and they manifest because of that… but most of her intentions are outward. That is, she desires to be given something.
For example, I manifested the car I used to drive.
Before I left for the basic training, my sisters best friend got a new car from her wealthy dad. She drove it over to show me and my sister and I was really impressed, I thought it was beautiful. That night I had the most vivid dream that I owned that car.
It was so that I woke up literally thinking “wait do I really have that car”. It was so so real. 3 years later, I ended up (without realizing it at the time) buying in full the same exact model with the cash from my enlistment bonus and salary while away at boot camp. My intention had been realized. Another point, intentions do not happen immediately. They only occur when you have aligned yourself into a position where you are ready to receive. Like me needing a car and having the money to purchase a car.
A good example of an inward intention is desiring to create something…
like build a popular blog and personal brand to inspire people, throw a great party, give a powerful sales presentation. This sort of intention is inward, and the energy you need to put into it should also be inward. Don’t give it the same type of energy you would an outward intention. For example, thinking you already have done it, or have already nailed it and made the sale. No, instead the type of energy injected into this intention should be “I can do this”, I’m the fu*in best at this!” “I am going to blow them away”.
I have a ton more to say on creating reality and intention manifestation, but I will leave it there as I am quite confident I have confused you enough for today :)
If things are bit off, try waking up tomorrow and thinking to yourself:
Today I am starting over. I am grateful for being alive. I will live a life with purpose. I will be who I am supposed to be…who I want to be. I see potential. I see positive energy. I see abundance. I see opportunity. It’s all around me. Some of it has my name on it. All I need to do it go take it.
